France announced the suspension of all its flights with Brazil due to the mutated strains, according to an urgent news broadcast by the Al-Arabiya channel on Tuesday.
Earlier, French Minister of Health Olivier Ferrand announced that his country will extend the interval between the two doses of the Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines, which are anti-Coronavirus, from 4 weeks to 6 weeks, starting from April 14.
Ferrand confirmed - according to France 24 - that this will allow more vaccinations at a faster rate, explaining that France can do so now because it is fortifying a younger age group.
France has approved the use of the Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines, which are based on knowledge of RNA.
