France has evacuated more people from Sudan, the French Foreign Ministry said on Thursday, adding that the evacuees also included citizens from Britain, the United States, Canada, Ethiopia, the Netherlands, Italy, and Sweden.
The ministry added that France had so far evacuated 936 people from Sudan.
According to the Sudanese Ministry of Health, the clashes that erupted between the two largest military forces in the country on April 15, until yesterday, Wednesday, left 512 dead and 4,000 injured.
The World Health Organization announced that it expects more deaths in Sudan due to the spread of diseases, the difficulty in accessing food and water, and the interruption of basic health services.
