Ambassador Mohamed Al-Orabi, Chairman of Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs and former Minister of Foreign Affairs, confirmed that Egypt supports the resilience of the Palestinian people on their land, rejects any violation of their rights, and will not accept, under any circumstances, any plan to displace the Palestinian people from their homeland.
In an exclusive statement to the Middle East News Agency on Sunday, Al-Orabi emphasized that Egypt's stance on attempts to displace Palestinians from their land is clear and unwavering.
He recalled Egypt's unequivocal rejection of removing Palestinians from their land under any pretext.
He also pointed out that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi sent a strong message to the entire world at the beginning of the Gaza War in 2023, stating that the Palestinian issue will not be resolved at the expense of Egyptian territory.
Al-Orabi explained that Egypt was fully aware from the outset of a plan to destroy Gaza and render it uninhabitable to depopulate it, and it exerted its utmost efforts to thwart this scheme.
Moreover, Al-Orabi warned that any attempt to displace, encourage the transfer, or uproot Palestinians from their land, whether temporarily or permanently, will not bring security to Israel. Instead, it will lead to further unrest, destabilize the Middle East, and undermine prospects for peace and coexistence among the region's peoples.
