The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates warned of the consequences of international coexistence with the failure of the Security Council to pass a draft resolution for a ceasefire and to provide protection for Palestinian civilians, and to be satisfied with formulas, political positions and valid claims that do not find deaf ears from the Israeli government, which brags about the continuation of the war of genocide and occupation. The entire Gaza Strip, and tailoring its political future to its size, far from a solution to the Palestinian issue.
In a statement today, Friday, the Ministry called for international boldness that is consistent with the declared international positions, which warn of the depth of the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip, and demand an end to the aggression.
It also warned against the exacerbation of the colonizers’ attacks, and to exert real pressure on the Security Council so that it bears its legal and moral responsibilities in stopping the destructive aggression against our people, and adopting a political road map that guarantees the protection of civilians, in order to reach a solution to the Palestinian issue, in accordance with international peace references and the Arab Peace Initiative.
The Ministry condemned the Israeli occupation's escalation of its aggression, whether the ongoing genocidal war in the Gaza Strip for the 70th day in a row, or in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem.
