Foreign Ministry: Egypt Supports Desired African Integration

Egyptian Ambassador to Ghana Emad Hanna has affirmed Cairo's absolute support for the desired African integration by promoting trade exchange among the countries of the African continent and integrating it into the global trade system.

This came during the ambassador’s participation in the first coordination meeting of the Secretary General of the African Continental Free Trade Area, " Wamkele Mene", with the African ambassadors to Ghana.

The Foreign Ministry said - in a statement - that Ambassador Hanna highlighted Egyptian leadership  keenness to provide all aspects of technical support to accelerate the pace of industrial development and support small and medium enterprises to secure the African product's ability to compete.

Therefore, Africa would be able to achieve sustainable development through encouraging cross-regional infrastructure projects that contributes to increasing the volume of intra-regional trade and create a common African market.
