For Cancer Patients.. Steps to Get Free Card to Ride Air - Conditioned Trains, Services

Cairo, Feb. 6 (SEE)- The chief of the Railway Ashraf Raslan confirmed that instead of statements, the Authority will issue a free smart card to cancer patients and their companions as a kind of services.

"This card allows patients to ride air-conditioned second class coaches of passenger trains," Raslan said today during a phone call this morning program broadcast on Extra News.

Raslan revealed that the procedures for getting the card involve obtaining a certificate proving their eligibility, an image of the national ID card, and 2 pictures.

He added that the Railway authority is following a large development plan and the citizen will feel better in the first half of 2020.
