Foreign Minister (FM) Sameh Shoukry held a phone call on Tuesday, with his Moroccan counterpart Nasser Bourita.
During the phone call, Shoukry expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy on behalf of Egypt to the Kingdom of Morocco, its leadership and people, following the earthquake that struck several cities in Morocco, resulting in hundreds of deaths and injuries.
Moreover, Shoukry reiterated Egypt's full support and solidarity with Morocco in this difficult time.
On his part, Moroccan minister expressed deep gratitude and appreciation of King Mohammed VI for the support and solidarity of his brother, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, with the Morocco in this tragic event, appreciating Egypt's decision to declare three days of mourning in solidarity with Morocco.
