FM, Bulgarian counterpart Discuss Ways to Enhnace Co-op

Foreign Minister (FM) Sameh Shoukry confirmed that he discussed with the Bulgarian Foreign Minister ways to enhance cooperation with Bulgaria.

Shoukry stressed the need to work on strengthening cooperation in various fields, explaining that Egypt warns against the expansion of the scope of conflict in the region.

Moreover, FM expressed Egypt's appreciation for the friendly relations between Egypt and Bulgaria.

Regarding the escalation in the Gaza Strip, he reiterated the existence of ongoing Egyptian contacts to establish a framework for reaching a truce in the Gaza Strip, pointing to his efforts to achieve a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and increase aid.

 In addition, Shoukry stressed the necessity of a peaceful solution between the Palestinians and Israelis to establish security and stability, underlining the importance of ending the conflict in the occupied Palestinian territories.
