Five ministers from the ultra-Orthodox Shas party submitted their resignation letters from the Israeli government on Thursday, according to the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth.
The ministers resigned from the Israeli government: Religious Affairs Minister Michael Malkeli, Welfare Minister Yaakov Margi, Health Minister Uriel Buso, Interior Minister Moshe Arbel, and Education Minister Haim Biton.
The ultra-Orthodox party announced its withdrawal from the government coalition yesterday.
