Ahead of the final presidential debate between incumbent President Donald Trump and his opponent Joe Biden on Friday, the Democratic candidate accused Trump of being a president for wealthy people, not the middle class.
"Donald Trump sees the world from Park Avenue," Biden tweeted.
He added that "I see it from where I came from: Scranton, Pennsylvania. It's why I'll fight every day as president to make this country work for the middle class — not the wealthy and well-connected."
The second debate, scheduled for last week, was canceled after the President tested positive for the coronavirus and subsequently refused to take part in a virtual meeting, according to CNN.
The Commission on Presidential Debates has given the green light to an in-person face-off, but with one unprecedented change: The candidates will have their microphones cut off while their opponents respond to the first question of each of the debate's six segments.
The topics slated for discussion over 90 uninterrupted minutes, beginning at 9 p.m. ET, include "Fighting COVID-19," "American Families," "Race in America," "Climate Change," "National Security" and "Leadership."
