Renowned Egyptian director and former MP Khaled Youssef is preparing for a new film titled "Welcome to Paris", after four years of absence.
The film is a true story revolving around the friendship and suffering of three Arab females inside a prison in France.
In a virtual interview with "Al Kahera Wal Nas" TV channel, Youssef explained Monday that the film features four Egyptian stars as well as actors from Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and the Arab Maghreb.
He added that actor Maged El Masry is the first to be nominated for "Welcome to Paris" and has already gave his initial approval to join the film.
The film will begin shooting in September.
