On Tuesday, FC Copenhagen qualified for UEFA Champions League round of 16 for the first time since 2010 after defeating Galatasaray.
The team qualified to the round of 16 after securing their group's second place.
Galatasaray would have qualified to the round of 16 with a victory, however, they can now continue their European participation in the Europa League play-offs in February.
In the same context, Manchester United lost 1-0 at home to the group's first place holders, Bayern Munich, at Old Trafford, which means that the Man United are out the tournament.
