Facebook announced on Wednesday removing the 'Like button' from its redesigned public pages used by artists, public figures, and brands, the social media company.
The Facebook Pages will only display subscribers and have a dedicated news feed where users can participate in conversations, interact with peers, and engage with fans. The new revamp began rolling out on January 6.
Also, the users can choose to give trusted page admins full control or partial access. As well as be able to grant different levels of access to manage specific tasks, including statistics, announcements, content and activity, and community messages.
The redesign is also introducing a new Q&A feature. Followers will be able to ask the Page questions about a topic. When the Page answers, these become a stack of questions and answers that people can swipe through to learn more about the particular topic.
