The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts that the country will continue to witness a rise in the temperature and extremely hot weather, during daylight hours on Tuesday.
Extremely hot weather is foreseen to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, and the South of the country.
Hot weather is also predicted to prevail along the Northern coasts.
It is foreseen that the hot conditions will continue to Monday due to the heatwave that broke out in Egypt on April 28.
Furthermore, Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department at EMA, predicted winds will be active in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Northern coasts, and North Upper Egypt.
Pleasant weather is predicted to prevail across the country, at night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 40C in Cairo, 34C in Alexandria, 33C in Marsa Matruh, 42C in Sohag, 42C in Qena, and 42C in Aswan.
