The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts that the country will continue to witness a rise in the temperature and extremely hot weather, during daylight hours on Sunday.
Furthermore, Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department at EMA, predicted winds will be active in the South of the country, stirring sand and dust in the West of the country.
There are chances of light rain, sometimes thunderstorms, hitting intermittently in the far of South Upper Egypt.
Atmospheric dust is also foreseen to prevail from the north of the country to North Upper Egypt and South Sinai.
Moderate weather is predicted to prevail across the country, at night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 39C in Cairo, 37C in Alexandria, 35C in Marsa Matruh, 41C in Sohag, 41C in Qena, and 42C in Aswan.
