The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot and humid weather to prevail in most parts of the country, during daylight hours on Thursday.
Hot and humid weather is also predicted to hit the North Coast.
Winds will be active in Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Moreover, most parts of the country will experience moderately hot and humid weather at nighttime.
Moderate and humid weather is also predicted to prevail in the North Coast.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 39°C in Cairo, 32°C in Alexandria, 30°C in Marsa Matruh, 42°C in Sohag, 43°C in Qena, and 44°C in Aswan.
