The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot and humid weather to prevail in most parts of the country, during daylight hours on Wednesday.
Hot and humid weather is also expected to prevail in the North Coast.
Wind will be active occasionally across the country.
The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads to Cairo, Lower Egypt, and North Coast.
There is also chances of light rainfall, sometimes thunderous, prevailing in South Upper Egypt and Red Sea Mountain Trail.
It is also predicted there will be disruption of maritime navigation in Mediterranean sea, with winds averaging 40 to 60 km/h and waves ranging between 2 to 3.5 meters.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves, ranging between 2 and 3 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height varying between southwest and northwest surface winds.
Moreover, the country will experience moderately hot and humid weather at nighttime.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 37°C in Cairo, 32°C in Alexandria, 31°C in Marsa Matruh, 42°C in Sohag, 42°C in Qena, and 43°C in Aswan.
