The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot and humid weather will prevail in most of the country during Monday’s daylight hours.
Hot and humid weather is also expected to hit the North Coast.
The weather will seem hotter due to the high humidity levels, which will push up the heat index 2-4 degrees.
The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads from the north of the country to Cairo.
Meteorologist also predicts that Egypt will experience a gradual rise in temperature.
Wind will occur occasionally in the North Coast and South Sinai at the interment periods.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves ranging between 1.25 and 1.75 meters in height, with northwest surface winds.
The Red Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1.25 and 2 meters in height, with northeast surface winds.
Moderately hot and humid weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night and in the early hours.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 37°C in Cairo, 33°C in Alexandria, 31°C in Marsa Matruh, 40°C in Sohag, 41°C in Qena, and 42°C in Aswan.
