Today, Sunday, a residential building explosion in the city of Tabriz, in northern Iran, killed and injured a number of people
The Iranian Fars news agency quoted a spokesman for the fire department in Tabriz as saying the details of the explosion, as he confirmed that 3 apartments were completely destroyed and a number of vehicles around the building were damaged.
"So far, 5 people have died and 3 sustained minor injuries," he added
The spokesman indicated that "one person was trapped under the rubble, who was rescued by paramedics and taken to hospital
He explained that "the cause of the accident is under investigation ,as after removing the debris, the cause of the accident may be fully determined
