Oliver Varhelyi, European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement, stated that all key sectors are participating in the joint Egypt-EU Investment Conference.
This came during his speech at the panel discussion on the economic reform agenda at the opening of the joint Egypt-EU Investment Conference, attended by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
"Egypt can supply Europe with green electricity through new projects. We have seen the submarine cable project and look forward to more cooperation with Egypt in the fields of hydrogen," he added.
"Egypt has a lot of potential and through joint cooperation agreements, Egypt will become one of the largest hydrogen suppliers to Europe," the European official continued.
