The European Investment Bank (EIB) has signed a 25-year financing agreement worth €72 million to assist in the renovation of educational facilities in France and adapt them to local demand, aiming to enhance the quality of education.
According to a statement by the European Investment Bank, this loan will contribute to improving infrastructure in more than 12 secondary schools, focusing on digital transformation, enhancing playgrounds, and installing solar panels.
The statement emphasized that the schools will operate with energy efficiency, allowing for the achievement of energy-saving goals and cost reduction in operations while taking measures to adapt to climate change.
