European Union Spokesman in the Middle East and North Africa Luis Miguel Bueno said that he had met with Egyptian Foreign minister Sameh Shoukry and EU envoy for the horn of Africa on the sidelines of the Manama Dialogue.
"The meeting discussed various issues, including the situation in Sudan, the Renaissance Dam, and the latest developments in the Horn of Africa," Miguel said on a tweet.
Miguel concluded his tweet, saying: "Egypt is a major partner for us ."
Noteworthy, Shoukry said that there is an international consensus to continue negotiations on the Renaissance Dam, and indicated that the United States is aware of the importance of water security for Egypt and is ready to make all efforts to support this matter.
