On Friday, the European Union (EU) Delegation in Egypt affirmed that it will continue the structured dialogue with the East Mediterranean Gas Forum (EMGF).
The EU took to Twitter to congratulate Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla over the successful 6th Ministerial meeting of the EMGF under his chairmanship.
"Congratulations on the successful 6th Ministerial meeting of the EMGF under the chairmanship of Minister El Molla," the tweet read.

In a new tweet, the account cited the remarks of Ambassador Christian Berger, Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation in Egypt, after the meeting where he represented the EU as an observer.
“The Forum is an illustration example of successful economic and political cooperation that leads to regional prosperity and stability," the statement stated.
"The EU will continue the structured dialogue with the Forum on a wide range of issues and is keen in a longstanding partnership to support ambitious plans focusing on sustainable solutions such as de-carbonization, limiting methane emissions and energy efficiency.” the statement concluded.
