Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan revealed that he will consider relations with Syria and Egypt following the elections, which will take place in June 2023.
"We can reconsider our relations with the countries with which we have problems after the elections,” Erdoğan told reporters reports.
"There is no eternal rivalry in politics," he added. "Once the time comes, you can sit down, assess the situation and hold talks accordingly."
On a separate note, the Turkish leader confirmed that the grain deal would be extended for 120 days.
"Following the decision made by the UN, Turkey, Russia, and Ukraine, the agreement on the Black Sea corridor will be extended from 19 November 2022 for 120 days," he wrote on Twitter.
According to Erdoğan, over 11 million metric tons of agricultural products have been exported through the maritime humanitarian corridor since the launch of the initiative.
"The implementation of the agreement showed how important and useful it is for the provision of global food security," he asserted.
