Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan commemorated the death of Ottoman Sultan Abdul Hamid II.
Erdoğan said in a tweet via his Twitter account: "I salute the memory of Sultan Abdul Hamid II's transfer to the afterlife, and I remember him with mercy, respect and gratitude, and I ask God to make heaven his abode."

The Turkish president published a picture of Sultan Abdul Hamid II, who is the 104th anniversary of his death.
It is noteworthy that Abdul Hamid II is the thirty-fourth Sultan of the Ottoman Empire.
In 1876, he assumed power and his reign ended in 1909, and he was placed under house arrest until his death on February 10, 1918.
