On Wednesday, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) warned of a state of instability in weather conditions, starting from Thursday and continuing until Friday
Manar Ghanem, a member of the authority’s media center, said that during the next two days, Egypt will be affected by a trough on the Mediterranean Sea and the upper atmosphere, accompanied by a gradual and slight decrease in temperatures.
During a telephone interview to the Extra News channel, Ghanem said that the temperature is expected to be 18C on Thursday in Cairo and 16C on Friday.
She said that the weather phenomena accompanying the state of instability are marked by high wind activity in all regions of Egypt and are blowing up sand and dust.
Ghanem indicated that there are chances of rain falling on the western coasts, Lower Egypt and Greater Cairo on Thursday and Friday, with increased quantities on areas overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
