EMA Expects Weather Temperatures to Increase on 1st Day of Ramadan

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderately hot weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Thursday (First day of the holy month of Ramadan).

Warm weather is also predicted to hit North Coast, while South Upper Egypt to experience hot weather.

The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads to Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height varying between northwesterly to southwesterly surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height varying between northwesterly to Northeasterly surface winds.

Moreover, cold weather is also expected to prevail in most parts of the country, at night.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 27°C in Cairo, 23°C in Alexandria, 21°C in Marsa Matruh, 29°C in Sohag, 30°C in Qena, and 32°C in Aswan.
