On Saturday, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority warned of a heatwave for the 72 hours, with very hot weather in Cairo, and Lower Egypt up to the southern parts of the country.
Temperatures in Cairo will reach 37C during the day and 23C degrees at night and will exceed 40C in the southern governorates of Upper Egypt.
The weather will be hot on the northern coasts, and with the increased sunlight meteorologists advised citizens not to be exposed directly to the sun during noon and to drink plenty of cool fluids.
Wind activity is expected in areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and South Sinai at intermittent periods on Sunday.

North Coast: 33C
Cairo and Lower Egypt: 37C
South Sinai: 36C
Northern Upper Egypt: 39C
Southern Upper Egypt: 42C
