Al Ahly football director Sayed Abdel Hafiez said on Sunday that the Red Devils' first-choice goalkeeper will be ready for Cairo's derby.
Zamalel will host their arch rivals Zamalek on Friday in the third round of the Egyptian League as both clubs are looking forward to secure the win to cement their lead before the international break.
"El Shenawy became ready for the match. He was fit to partake in NBE's match, but head coach Pitso Mosimane prefered to giving him a break to return once again to the games starting from Zamalek's encounter," he said in statements for Al Ahly's channel follwing the African Champion 1-0 victort over NBE.
