While the famous cinema was neglected after hundreds of fans flocked watched ''Bassem Youssef'' during his famous program, the festival gives it a new opportunity to attract attention.
Although the Egyptian public has been associated with the films that was displayed hundreds of times on national and satellite television, its re-show did not attract great audience. Only 20 people, including three security personnel attended the show.
The attendees expressed their gratitude for the re-show that allowed them to watch their favorite films, especially the films of the creative director honored during the festival "Sherif Arafa" on the cinema screen especially, since the premiere happened before they were born.

“El Irhab wal-Kabab” film was presented by Rotana, which is supposed to be a restored version as announced during the symposium by director Arafa.
The film tells about the family head who turned accidentally into a terrorist for one night, and lost his peaceful vision because of bureaucracy and poor living condition reflected on the work of the staff of El Tharir Complex.
He became impatient, disarmed one of the security men, and it turns from a quarrel to seizing the complex and taking hostages.
Noteworthy, the story was written by Waheed Hamed, who tried to dissect the so-called terrorism pattern in Egypt in the 1990s, explaining its reasons for economic and social conditions.
