Bahgat El-Ebeidy, the Egyptian writer residing in Austria and founder of the International Union of Egyptian Citizens Abroad, said that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has worked since he rose to power in Egypt to maintain Egyptian and Arab national security alike, and that he has spared no effort to solve all the crises that hit the region.
El-Ebeidy added that Egypt, through its president, El-Sisi, presented in various international forums the state’s vision to solve those problems that have occurred in the last decade in the Arab region, which had a direct impact on Egypt, the region, and the world.
El-Ebeidy stated that the Egyptian vision presented by President El-Sisi excluded in all cases the resort to power and the use of arms as a solution to the differences that arose between the various conflicting powers in those countries, and this is the belief of the president that violence will not resolve any conflict, nor will he have a final result that leads to the stability of these states.
The founder of the International Federation of Egyptian Citizen Abroad stated that among the countries struck by crises and shared by the problems is the state of Libya, which is one of the most important countries that represents a strategic depth for the Egyptian national security, and hence there was double interest by President El-Sisi with what is happening over there so he encouraged several parties to go through the negotiation processes.
