Egypt's Endowments Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa announced on Sunday that the upcoming Eid al-Adha prayers will take place at major mosques where only Friday prayers are held.
In a statement, he confirmed that there is no room for Eid prayers to be held at any squares, yard, or streets under the current circumstances of COVID-19 in order to preserve the health of the whole community.

Moreover, the minister urged all worshipers to adhere to all precautionary and preventive measures, including social distancing and wearing facemasks.
