Moataz Wael and Amira Qandil, the modern pentathlon duo, won the silver medal in the mixed doubles competition at the World Cup.

The tournament was held in Turkey from 16 to 20 April.

The duo of Egypt won the silver medal with 1318 points, the duo of Kazakhstan Elena Potapenko and Pavel Ilyashenko won the gold medal with 1327 points, and the duo of Italy Aurora Tognetti and Federico Alessandro won the bronze medal with 1314 points.

Moataz Wael won the silver medal in the men's singles with 1490 points, Ahmed Al-Jundi won the bronze medal with 1483 points, and South Korean Changwan Seo won with 1497 points. Malak Ismail, a player of the Egyptian modern pentathlon team, won the bronze medal in the women's singles.
