The coaching staff of the Egyptian national team, led by manager Hossam Hassan, has announced the “Pharaohs” squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The list includes the return of Al Ahly midfielder Imam Ashour and Pyramids FC winger Mostafa Fathi, both of whom have recovered from injury.
Ibrahim Hassan, Egypt’s national team director, confirmed in press statements that the final tournament squad will be submitted to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on December 11.
Egypt will begin its AFCON campaign on December 22 against Zimbabwe, followed by a match against South Africa on December 26, before concluding group-stage play against Angola on December 29.
