President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received today, Monday, in Sharm El-Sheikh, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MBZ), Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, where they held an expanded session of talks in the presence of the delegations of the two countries.
"The President welcomed his brother, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi in his second country, Egypt, stressing Egypt's pride in the historical ties that unite the two countries and peoples," said Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.
Rady added that Sisi affirmed Egypt's keenness to continue strengthening bilateral cooperation with the UAE in various fields, and intensifying the pace of the convening of bilateral meetings between senior officials of the two countries periodically to coordinate closely and mutually towards the successive developments witnessed by the world and the region.
On his part, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed expressed his sincere appreciation for the warm reception from Sisi, praising the sincere and close brotherhood of the Egyptian-Emirati relations.
He stressed that his current visit to Egypt comes as a continuation of the historical and distinguished relations that bind the two countries, government and people, and what unites them from one destiny and future.
In this context, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi hailed Egypt's pivotal and firm role as a mainstay for security and stability in the region, and its estimated efforts to promote joint Arab action at all levels, lauding the great and qualitative development witnessed by Egyptian-Emirati relations in various political, economic, developmental and other fields.
