On Saturday, Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly departed from Cairo International Airport, en route to Accra, Ghana, to participate in the sixth mid-year coordination meeting of the African Union (AU) on Sunday.
He is attending on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, reflecting Egypt's current chairmanship of the African Union Development Agency (NEPAD).
During the meeting, Prime Minister Madbouly will deliver a speech addressing the role of the African Union Development Agency in promoting regional and continental integration under the framework of Agenda 2063. The event will see the participation of several heads of state and government, as well as representatives from various African organizations.
In addition to his official engagements at the AU meeting, Prime Minister Madbouly is scheduled to hold bilateral discussions with various officials on the sidelines of his visit. These meetings aim to explore initiatives and efforts to bolster economic integration among African nations.
