The Egyptian delegation that took part in the 20th session of the World Youth Festival (WYF) in Sochi, Russia, has achieved overwhelming success and impressive results. During the first phase of the festival, the delegation participated positively and effectively, drawing the attention of members of other delegations from Arab and European countries.

The Pharaohs' Team, which consisted of 126 young men, was one of the most prominent delegations at the Sochi Festival. They participated in all the various activities and proudly displayed the Egyptian flag. The head of the Algerian delegation commented that Egypt brings a special, distinguished, and positive spirit to international forums.

Meanwhile, the head of the Russian organizing committee for the festival also noted that the Egyptians spread their flags and chanted their songs with a beautiful spirit, attracting everyone's attention. Other delegations started to interact with the Egyptian songs, and some even began to chant their own songs and raise their country's flags after being inspired by the Egyptians.

The head of the Egyptian delegation and Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports, Abdullah Al-Batash, shared that the participation plan was designed to ensure that Egyptians were present in all the sites specified by the festival administration, and the name of Egypt and the Egyptian flag would be present in these sites at the same time.

In turn, Sherif Gad, vice head of the delegation and Secretary General of the Egyptian-Russian Friendship Society, said that the youth of Egypt distinguished themselves in participating in numerous cultural and sporting events and round table seminars in a remarkable manner.

Gad emphasized that the young Pharaohs' impressive success was confirmed by the heads of foreign delegations and participants from all other countries.

It's worth mentioning that a number of young Pharaohs also had the opportunity to meet with President Vladimir Putin.
