Egypt’s Grand Mufti, Dr. Nazir Ayyad, met with Sheikh Nauryzbai Kazhy Taganuly, Chairman of the Spiritual Directorate of Muslims of Kazakhstan and Supreme Mufti of Kazakhstan, to explore ways to enhance mutual religious cooperation.
Dr. Ayyad reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to supporting Kazakhstan in training muftis and religious scholars, with an emphasis on promoting moderate Islamic discourse.
Sheikh Taganuly expressed his appreciation for Egypt’s significant role in the global Islamic community and emphasized his desire for deeper collaboration.
