The recovery rate from the coronavirus at Egyptian isolation hospitals has reached 84.2%, after receiving the necessary medical care, according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO).
In a statement, the Ministry of Health revealed that the number of people recovering from the virus increased to 262,654 cases.
It is worth mentioning that, Egypt’s Health Ministry reported 921 new coronavirus cases, bringing the country’s total up to 332,889 on Tuesday.
The total number of COVID-19-related deaths has now reached 18,769 nationwide after the ministry announced 58 deaths.
About 644 patients were discharged from quarantine at isolation hospitals, raising the total number of fully-recovered cases to 279,823.
The country is witnessing the peak of the fourth wave of the virus, with daily infection cases being ten times higher than what was recorded at the end of July.
