The recovery rate from the coronavirus at Egyptian isolation hospitals has reached 84.1%, after the number of people recovering from the virus increased to 246,075 cases, according to the Ministry of Health’s statement.
The total number of COVID-19-related deaths has now reached 16,860 nationwide after the ministry announced 13 deaths.
About 750 patients were discharged from quarantine at isolation hospitals, raising the total number of fully-recovered cases to 246,075.
Egypt plans to vaccinate 40 million citizens by the end of the year, representing around 40% of the population.
