The recovery rate from the coronavirus at Egyptian isolation hospitals has reached 82%, after the number of people recovering from the virus increased to 234250 cases, according to the Ministry of Health’s statement.
On Monday, Egypt’s Health Ministry reported 107 new coronavirus cases, bringing the country’s total up to 285, 465.
The total number of COVID-19-related deaths has now reached 16, 625 nationwide after the ministry announced 6 deaths.
About 136 patients were discharged from quarantine at isolation hospitals, raising the total number of fully-recovered cases to 234, 250.
Egypt plans to vaccinate 40 million citizens by the end of the year, representing around 40% of the population.
