On Tuesday, Ahmed Hammam who is one of the senior and key voices and radio presenters of the state-owned Al Quran Al Kareem station passed away.
The death of the presenter saddened millions of those who listen to the most popular and iconic radio station in Egypt and the Middle East as he was the main voice of introducing programs, several segments, prayers, and sayings of Prophet Mohamed "Ahadeth."
Hammam's funeral and burial took place in his hometown in El-Senbellawein, Dakahlia.
On its side, the station mourned the death of the presenter on its Facebook page, praying to God for his soul to rest in peace.
Besides his job for the radio station, he was elected as the representative of El-Senbellawein in the House of Representatives in 2015.
