Egypt's first lady Entissar El-Sisi has praised the vital role played by Egyptian women throughout history against any threats facing our homeland.
On her "Facebook" official page, she wrote: "The Egyptian woman will always and forever be the source of life."
"I trust God Almighty to protect our beloved Egypt, and have great confidence in the Egyptian woman, who bears great responsibility towards her family; to take care and advise them in order to overcome this serious ordeal that sweeps the whole world, and will just be a memory added to her achievements throughout history," Mrs. El-Sisi added.
"May God protect Egypt, its sons, and women from any harm," the first lady continued.
It is worth mentioning that, The Egyptian Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 30 new coronavirus cases were detected. This upped the total number of confirmed cases to 196.
The ministry noted that two more death cases were recorded, raising the total number of deaths to six.
The World Health Organization (WHO) declared coronavirus a global pandemic as the new virus has rapidly spread to more than 121,000 people from Asia to the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.
More cases of the virus, which causes respiratory disease Covid-19, continue to emerge, with outbreaks in South Korea, Italy, and Iran.
Transmission of viruses between humans happens when someone comes into contact with an infected person’s secretions, such as droplets in a cough. They can also be transmitted by coming into contact with something an infected person has touched and then touching your mouth, nose or eyes.
