A high-ranking Egyptian source denied on Wednesday the presence of Israeli or Palestinian delegations in Egypt to discuss the truce in the Gaza Strip.
The source, quoted by Al-Qahera News, also denied that Israel had informed Egypt of its response to the truce proposal.
In the same connection, he affirmed that the information being circulated is actually Israeli leaks intended to cover up Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech in Congress.
The source confirmed that the Israeli Prime Minister is attempting to falsely claim that injured Palestinians are being allowed to leave.
Furthermore, the source indicated that Netanyahu is making unfounded allegations about intensifying humanitarian relief operations in the Gaza Strip and achieving progress with the truce agreement in order to preempt his speech to the US Congress.
