Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, also known as Abu Mazen, will arrive in Egypt today, Sunday, on an official visit, responding to an invitation from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. They are set to participate in a tripartite summit, also involving Jordan, on Monday, as reported by the official Palestinian news agency "WAFA".

Palestine's Ambassador to Egypt, Diab Al-Louh, in remarks to "Radio Voice of Palestine," stated that this tripartite summit, bringing together President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Mahmoud Abbas, and the Jordanian King Abdullah II, exemplifies the continual consultation and cooperation on numerous issues at Arab, regional, and international levels.

The three leaders will discuss the latest developments in the Palestinian cause, aiming to coordinate efforts to rally international support to end the suffering of the Palestinian people. They'll also focus on realizing the legitimate national rights of Palestinians, which include freedom, independence, and the establishment of their state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
