Shaimaa Moustafa, an Egyptian designer, is creating her work using materials that were utilized in the ancient Egyptian civilizations like copper, natural leather and raw material.
She found her way for designing bags and jewelry, and named her brand “Heritage”. She is obsessed with the Pharaonic designs.
The designer also relies on the decorations of the Fatimid era, the drawings of mosques and buildings.

Metal Energy
Moustafa said that during her work experience with minerals, she found that every metal as well as stone has its own energy and effect. She added that her favorite personal metal was copper metal because of its positive energy.

The designer confirmed that her passion towards the copper metal grew not only because it was used by the pharaohs, but also for its big use in the fashion industry.

Work stages
Moustafa explained the several stages in her work; she starts with drawing, decorating, and collecting all the pieces back together and at the last step painting the bags with gold and/or silver. She designs all sizes to suit all tastes.

Also, she uses the natural leather which she depends on to blend with the technique of the old sewing industry, in addition to natural colors and the burning method.
The designer says that after coating the bags, she adds accessories like a lock, natural stones, strings like turquoise, onyx, and agate.
