On Thursday, the Egyptian Air Force continued its operation of a humanitarian air bridge, airdropping food supplies and essential needs to the Palestinian citizens in the northern regions of the Gaza Strip, for March 20th and 21st.
Utilizing C-130 military transport aircraft, the missions took off from El-Arish airport, managing to airdrop tens of tons of humanitarian aid. This initiative has been bolstered through collaboration with the United Arab Emirates, underscoring a united regional effort to address the humanitarian needs in Gaza.
Further enhancing these relief operations, daily flights by Egyptian aircraft, in partnership with Jordan and other allied nations, have been focused on reaching isolated areas in northern Gaza. These areas, otherwise cut off, are now receiving much-needed aid, concurrently with the opening of the Rafah border crossing, facilitating a larger influx of humanitarian assistance into the Gaza Strip.
This operation is part of Egypt's broader commitment to support the Palestinian people during this challenging time, demonstrating an ongoing solidarity and response to the crisis in Gaza.
