The Egypt national football team, led by head coach Hossam Hassan, will begin a closed training camp on March 22 in preparation for two international friendly matches against Saudi Arabia and Spain.

The matches are scheduled for March 26 and March 30 in Doha, Qatar, as part of Egypt’s preparation program for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) announced that the friendlies will take place during the FIFA international window in March.

Egypt will face KSA in the first friendly on March 26, before taking on Spain on March 30.

Both matches will be held in Qatar and have been fully coordinated with the national team’s technical staff, headed by Hossam Hassan.

The EFA stated that these fixtures are part of an approved preparation program aimed at enhancing the players’ technical and physical readiness through exposure to different footballing styles and schools.

In addition, the Egyptian Football Association has finalized an agreement to play another high-profile friendly against Brazil in May.

This match will take place during the Pharaohs’ final training camp before the World Cup.

Discussions are also ongoing regarding a fourth friendly match, with Norway and Switzerland among the leading candidates.

A final decision is expected to be made in the coming days in coordination with head coach Hossam Hassan.
