In recent days, Egypt had been weighing friendly options against Russia, Poland, and Croatia, but Hassan ultimately approved the Russia fixture, finalizing the schedule.
The coaching staff is also considering launching the national team’s training camp on May 16, potentially without Zamalek players if the domestic league concludes on May 15 as planned.
