Under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Egypt airlifted, on Sunday, medical aid to Sudan.
Four military planes, loaded with tons of medical supplies, took off from Cairo to Khartoum International Airport. The shipment is gifted by the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population.

On their part, the Sudanese officials expressed their appreciation for Egypt's efforts, extending their thanks and appreciation to the Egyptian political leadership for its continuous suuport to overcome all the hardships facing the Sudanese people.
“This aid comes as a solid proof of Egypt’s fundamental role in helping the African countries overcome all the crises and hardships,” Military Spokesperson Colonel Gharib Abdel Hafiz said in a statement.
